HMLC initiates the road to a happy life by training children to understand and manage emotions and related behaviour. Puppet shows, drama, rhymes and stories are used to inculcate values such as honesty, kindness, hard work, caring and generosity.

HMLC visualises its students as the highly valued members of society in future. Children learn to interact confidently and positively with peers, family and teachers as a result of practicing habits such as cooperation and patience and proper etiquette such as greeting and table manners on a daily basis.
